Investment Professionals Heydon Traub, CFA Prior to founding Traub Capital Management in 2003, Mr. Traub was a Principal and Sr. VP of State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) and head of its Global Asset Allocation team worldwide from 1999 to June 2003. He was responsible for over $50 billion in assets representing over 3,500 accounts. Included in these accounts was a Global Macro hedge fund trading in global stock, bond, and currency markets. During this time, he also served as Vice Chairman of the SSgA Investment Committee. Mr. Traub previously headed SSgA's Global Active Equity team from 1991 to 1999. The equity team he led managed over $7 billion and included a long/short market-neutral U.S. equity hedge fund that had positive returns each of the seven quarters while Mr. Traub led the team. He joined SSgA in 1987 and was one of the developers of the firm's country, stock, and currency selection processes. Mr. Traub holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Brandeis and an M.B.A. degree in Finance and Accounting from the U. of Chicago. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS), and currently is an instructor for the BSAS CFA program. Mr. Traub was also an adjunct professor at Brandeis University's International Business program, teaching International Portfolio Management. He has written numerous articles and papers that have been published in leading investment journals and textbooks (Global Asset Allocation, and Small-cap Stocks) and wrote a monthly column on global investing for the Boston Business Journal for over ten years. Heydon has been a frequent speaker at conferences around the world and he has also served as a frequent guest commentator for major media outlets such as CNN, CNNfn, Wall Street Journal, International Herald Tribune, Boston Globe, Bloomberg, Reuters and others. Jodi Traub Jodi assists on the marketing effort as well as compliance work. As part of her work, she reviews client letter and reports, as well as marketing material. She has a BA in Fine Arts and Elementary Education from Brandeis University and has studied at New England School of Art and Design. For 10 years she worked as a graphic designer and art director in the children's publishing industry. She worked directly with marketing and editorial staff to bring product to market as well as managed budgets for many projects. Xiaochong Liu As an intern at Traub Capital Management, Xiaochong Liu is mainly working on equity research, proxy voting, website maintenance, and updating presentation materials. Xiaochong received his B.A. degree in Insurance from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics with the honor of Excellent Graduate and is now a M.A. candidate in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, International Business School. He has strong quantitative skills and programming skills in several languages. He has had previous internships at asset management, supply chain management and insurance companies. Xiaochong is looking forward to getting his CFA and pursuing a career in the investment banking industry.
